your so imature...
I am trying to fit in? and yet i have no friends? lol
This is a forum this is the internet, my friends are people I see in person in my life.
It is a crappy idea, its stupid and just an annoyance to a company, besides that your a liar, you apparantly own an iPad then you dont? so what is it? you own one or your going to buy a refurb?
I dont trust you, so anything you post is crap to me.
And I cant afford a free iPad? that doesnt even make sense! go back to school. I actually paid for my iPad and all the other things I own while I do a job aswell as go to university which is a 2 hour ride there and another 2 hours back.

My friend texted me asking if I wanted an old iMac for free, I obviously said yes. It is a snow 600MHz iMac G3 with 512MB of RAM, 40GB HD, and it works wonderfully. I'm currently looking for my 10.4 disks and going to install Tiger on it. Can't wait.

Hmm... I think you're right on this one, and you do need the \ before the space, otherwise it'll treat "Folder" as an argument, and not as part of the name of "System Folder" which could be a real problem if Folder is a valid argument.

You can perform conversions from any number system in the same way. Each position has a value based on it's distance from the . separating the whole portion from the fractional portion (decimal point in decimal). The position just to the left of this point is the 0th position, and this goes up as you move left and down as you move right, so:
1076.235
Position 3: 1
Position 2: 0
Position 1: 7
Position 0: 6
Position -1: 2
Position -2: 3
Position -3: 5
Each position's value is the base of the numbering system raised to the power of this position, so:
1*(x^3) + 0*(x^2) + 7*(x^1) + 6*(x^0) + 2*(x^-1) + 3*(x^-2) + 5*(x^-3)
so let's say this is an octal value:
1*(8^3) + 0*(8^2) + 7*(8^1) + 6*(8^0) + 2*(8^-1) + 3*(8^-2) + 5*(8^-3)
1*512 + 0*64 + 7*8 + 6*1 + 2*(1/8) + 3*(1/64) + 5*(1/512)
512 + 0 + 56 + 6 + 1/4 + 3/64 + 5/512
574 + 128/512 + 24/512 + 5/512
574 + 157/512
~574.306641 base 10 equals (approximately) 1076.235 base 8
Chances are the bases you'll deal with are 2,8,10, and 16. Even base 8 has fallen out of favor, but i guess it's worth working with. If you're doing this by hand, and you're moving between 2,8, and 16 there are some "tricks". Every octet is 3 bits, every hexit is 4 bits. Knowing this you can do conversions from either of these bases to base 2 or back again pretty quickly and easily with grouping. Note that between 2,8, and 16 you can exactly represent anything from one of these bases in one of the others. This isn't so with base 10, so we end up making approximations because converting from one of the other bases to base 10 can give us an irrational number, and some decimal numbers with a fractional part cannot be represented in binary at all, so they have to be estimated.

The Library of Congress already rule jb is legal. Try again.
Whatever 'muscle' is? All you need to sue someone is money and both Apple and Sony have more than enough.
I've never seen somebody more clueless.
If Geohot loses, Apple could try another pass at it. Even the lowest court could throw out the Library of Congress's opinion.
Clearly somebody wasn't paying attention in middle school history when they went over constitutional powers.
I just donated $100. Geohot is a drama queen but this has absolutely nothing to do with him as a person but the importance of what he did.

Unfortunately this will never happen :(
Shouldn't take too long to port over to redsn0w. Does anyone remember how long it was last time? For 4.3.2? I think it was like 7-10 days
The only person with the source is I0n1c and he was out of the country last update so it took him some time to compile new binaries for the release (if needed).
This could also be why it's not patched yet - with no access to the source it's harder for Apple to reverse engineer the exploit and discover what they are doing. With a need to get the update out so fast they probably didn't bother. I expect it to be in the next patch though.....

Its gone sorry didn't know it was a bad thing to say.......
By definition it is not necessarily a bad thing, but unfortunately on blogs and forum threads it is used as a derogative comment.
Some around the web define it as: A fan, short for fanatic and sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person with an intense, occasionally overwhelming liking and enthusiasm for a product. (ME!):))
....or Someone (normally male) who is utterly devoted to a single subject or hobby, often to the point where it is considered an obsession (again, ME!:o)

Ok, as of today there are no iPod minis at Circuit City or Sharper Image (at least here in Phoenix anyway) and I had found one on PowerMax's website, but they were already sold out of them before I could order one. I had started a deal with another member here, but his unit needed the battery replaced and couldn't have it done and sent to me before next Thursday (that's when I need it). So that said, is there anyone else here who would like to sell me their iPod mini (any color)? If there are any takers, I can send you money via PayPal today if you can ship it today or tomorrow.
Thanks!
at the store that i work at we still have them, they are 250CAD for them though

The Zalman has a back that fully encloses the fans. From the pics, the CoolerMaster does not. My experience with another design that did not enclose the fans was that the wiring eventually got snagged on something and the fans no longer received power as a result.
I think you'd be pleased with the Zalman's build quality. I know I am.
